Schedule/Hours:
- Shifts: 0645-1915; 1845-0715
- Schedule cycles every 6 weeks
- Weekend rotation: Every other
- Holidays: 75% required
- Possibility of low census call
- Up to 6 days approved time off (excluding holidays; may require contract extension)
What You’ll Need:
- Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- At least 18 months recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience
- Minimum 6 months’ hands-on EMR (EPIC) use
- Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills
- Experience with non-titrating cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone)
- IV start, wound care, and blood product administration expertise
- Comfort with floating across multiple regional facilities as needed
Role Responsibilities:
- Care for diverse patient populations (cardiac, respiratory, neuro, observational)
- Maintain RN ratios of 1:5-6, surging to 1:7-8 as needed
- Collaborate within a robust support network: CNAs, charge nurse, phlebotomy, IV/vascular access, RT, and hospitalist
- Engage in floating assignments within the designated regional division
