Medical-Surgical RN in Fort Sill, OK

Deliver comprehensive nursing care during the night shift in a dynamic medical-surgical environment. Schedule: 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Ratio: 1 nurse to 5 patients

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized nursing diagnoses and care plans
• Collaborate effectively with ancillary nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to maintain high standards of care
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor patient responses, and document accurately
• Perform clinical procedures such as dressing changes, catheter insertions, and IV starts
• Adjust and interpret specialized medical equipment readings as needed
• Monitor vital signs and promptly report adverse medication reactions
• Provide care flexibility by floating to other medical-surgical units when necessary

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year medical-surgical nursing experience required
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple patients efficiently
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
