As a Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse, you'll play a key role in providing comprehensive and individualized care to diverse patients. Qualifications:
- Current WY RN or multi-state RN license (must be attached to resume)
- ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association, attached upon submission)
- Strong time management and documentation skills
- Minimum of 1 year Med/Surg clinical experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in coordination with healthcare teams
- Administer and document prescribed medications and treatments
- Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and home care needs
- Monitor, adjust, and interpret specialized equipment and patient electronic displays
- Deliver bedside care, including pre- and post-surgical support
- Respond swiftly to urgent and life-saving situations using established protocols
- Facilitate discharge planning and patient education
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation
