Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Fortuna, CA

Key Qualifications:

• Valid and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year experience on a Med Surg unit
• Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and care coordination
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to adapt in fast-paced settings
• Clear and compassionate communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered nursing care in accordance with established policies and protocols
• Collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to promote best outcomes
• Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, and response to treatment
• Educate patients and families on medication, post-discharge care, and recovery expectations
• Maintain accurate records and uphold safety and infection control standards

Eligible candidates can expect weekly earnings ranging from $1900–$2100, based on 40 hours per week. This compensation includes hourly wages and may also encompass expense reimbursement for those who qualify, ensuring a competitive and comprehensive earnings package.
