Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts—choose from days (7a-7p) or nights (7p-7a)
• Every other weekend rotation
• No call requirements
• 6-week scheduling cycles
• Holiday work expectations (75% of holidays)
• Approved time off: up to 6 days, with contract extension if needed

Ideal Background & Requirements:

• Active RN license and 2+ years of MedSurg/Tele nursing experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification
• Proficiency in stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach and chest tube management, and post-op neuro/spine recovery
• Skilled with pain management—including complex histories
• EPIC proficiency and comfort with Alaris pumps, Omnicell, and advanced monitoring
• Openness to floating between facilities within assigned region
• Emphasis on teamwork, adaptability, and quality-improvement mindset

Primary Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive assessment and care for high-acuity MedSurg/Tele patients
• Medication administration, including drips and IV therapies
• Post-op neuro/spine care and patient-family education
• Maintain safety protocols: fall, infection, and complication prevention
• Active participation in real-time feedback and process improvement
