Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license (state Board of Nursing or compact)
• Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) nursing experience required
• Ability to independently perform nursing functions and utilize critical judgment
• Strong assessment, planning, coordination, and documentation skills
• Flexibility to float within qualified departments
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough health status assessments and ongoing patient evaluations
• Implement, monitor, and revise individualized care and treatment plans
• Deliver supportive and restorative therapy directly or through appropriate delegation/consultation
• Document all interventions and patient progress per regulatory and facility guidelines
• Provide health teaching and counseling to patients and families
• Adhere to professional and ethical standards, facility policies, and core values
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Adjust to shifting departmental needs and assist with coverage as required
