Schedule/Hours:

• 5x8 hour shifts

Qualifications & Skills:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year experience in Med Surg and/or Oncology nursing
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• ONS Chemo/Biotherapy Certificate
• Oncology Nursing Certification (OCN) (preferred)
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide independent nursing care and implement delegated medical functions under accepted practice standards
• Assess, plan, and evaluate comprehensive nursing care for a diverse patient population
• Perform health teaching, counseling, and patient/family education
• Administer and monitor therapeutic treatments and interventions, directly or in coordination with other healthcare providers
• Document assessments, progress, and interventions according to regulatory guidelines
• Float to other departments as required (within competency)
• Participate in on-call rotations as assigned
• Maintain alignment with the facility’s mission, vision, and service standards
