Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Graniteville, SC

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing setting
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams
• BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and documentation

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for effects and reactions
• Perform thorough patient assessments and document findings accurately
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, care procedures, and post-discharge needs
• Maintain a safe, sanitary, and supportive environment adhering to facility protocols
• Respond promptly to patient needs and changes in condition
