Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Grass Lake, Michigan

A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires a registered nurse with a strong background in medical-surgical environments, ready to support diverse patient needs across different care areas for a duration of 13 weeks.

Schedule:

• 7AM – 7PM shifts
• Candidates must be prepared to float to units with equal or lesser acuity, including potential assignment to a lockdown unit as necessary.

Desired Experience & Certifications:

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Med Surg RN
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Current, unrestricted Michigan RN license
• Base telemetry experience preferred
• Flexibility to adapt to changing patient populations and unit assignments

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical setting
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and perform daily assessments
• Provide clear communication and education to patients and their families
• Document care using electronic health records in accordance with facility policies
• Float among care units as needed, maintaining a consistently high standard of practice
