Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Gray, GA

Seeking a dynamic registered nurse with expertise in Med-Surg and Emergency Room care for a contract opportunity. This role is ideal for an RN with strong clinical skills and a desire to contribute to patient care in a fast-paced environment. You’ll provide nursing care on a 22-bed emergency unit and may float to the Skilled Nursing Unit or manage med-surg holds as needed.

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts, 7p–7a
• 36 hours per week
• No on-call or call back requirements
• Weekend rotation: 6 shifts within each 6-week period (out of 12 shifts)
• Holiday coverage: One shift for each major holiday (Thanksgiving or day after, Christmas Eve or Christmas, and New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day)

Qualifications:

• Active GA RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; BCR (Basic Cardiac Rhythm) required
• TNCC and national emergency nursing certification preferred but not mandatory
• At least 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Strong skills in drip management (Heparin, Insulin, Cardene, Dopamine, Epinephrine, Fentanyl, Propofol, Levophed)
• Comfortable with phlebotomy, nurse draws, and working with a diverse patient population
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and cardiac telemetry monitoring

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the ER, Med-Surg, and occasionally float as needed
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using current technology
• Collaborate with an integrated hospital team that includes hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapists
• Participate in department orientation and educational modules to maintain competency

$1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
