Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Groton, NY

• Demonstrated experience in Med Surg, Long Term Care, or Psychiatric settings
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Compassionate approach with a patient-centered focus

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care, administering treatments and medications as prescribed
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document clinical observations
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on health conditions and care instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with facility protocols
• Support a safe and therapeutic environment, responding promptly to changing patient needs
