Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in Med Surg and/or Telemetry units
• Proficiency in patient monitoring, including the use of telemetry equipment
• Familiarity with medication administration, wound care, and treatment protocols
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and documentation skills
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Effective interpersonal and communication abilities

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and implement individualized nursing care for patients on medical-surgical and telemetry units
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly identifying changes and taking appropriate actions
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Administer medications and therapies safely per established guidelines
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in electronic medical records
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, ongoing treatments, and discharge instructions
• Uphold infection control standards and prioritize patient safety at every step

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
