Key Qualifications:
- Active and current RN license
- Demonstrated experience in medical-surgical (med/surg) nursing
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced setting
- Superior communication and interpersonal abilities
- BLS certification (required), additional certifications preferred
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, implement care plans, and adjust as required
- Administer medications, IVs, and other therapies with strict attention to safety
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, specialists, and care teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Educate patients and their families on treatment protocols and post-discharge plans
- Maintain thorough and timely charting per facility standards
- Respond efficiently to emergencies and changing patient needs
