Medical-Surgical RN in Hillsdale, MI

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure in good standing
• Demonstrated experience in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing
• BLS certification (required), ACLS (preferred)
• Strong assessment, patient education, and charting skills
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic hospital settings
• Excellent interpersonal communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and patient care planning for diverse med-surg caseloads
• Administer physician-ordered medications, treatments, and therapies
• Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and intervene appropriately
• Accurately document in electronic medical records and maintain confidentiality
• Educate patients and families regarding post-acute care, medications, and recovery process
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and patient safety
• Uphold hospital policies, infection control practices, and patient safety guidelines
