Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) | Hillsdale, Michigan

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of Michigan (or compact license eligible)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) setting
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills

• Excellent communication and documentation abilities
• BLS certification required; additional certifications (such as ACLS) preferred

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to Med Surg patients, including assessment, intervention, and evaluation
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Monitor and manage patients’ conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as prescribed
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, care plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with hospital policies
