Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Current RN licensure in good standing
- Demonstrated experience in Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) nursing
- BLS certification (required), ACLS (preferred)
- Strong assessment, patient education, and charting skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced and dynamic hospital settings
- Excellent interpersonal communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments and patient care planning for diverse med-surg caseloads
- Administer physician-ordered medications, treatments, and therapies
- Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and intervene appropriately
- Accurately document in electronic medical records and maintain confidentiality
- Educate patients and families regarding post-acute care, medications, and recovery process
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care and patient safety
- Uphold hospital policies, infection control practices, and patient safety guidelines
