Key Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a hospital Med Surg setting
  • Proficient in medication administration, patient assessments, and care planning
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • BLS certification required; additional certifications (such as ACLS) are a plus

Schedule:

  • Contract position
  • Shifts and hours vary; scheduling details provided during interview process

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient-centered care, performing thorough assessments and developing individualized care plans
  • Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document all patient interventions according to protocols
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and healthcare support staff to ensure continuity and quality of care
  • Provide patient education, support patient families, and communicate effectively regarding treatment and recovery plans
  • Play an active role in discharge planning and post-acute care coordination
