Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania

An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing. In this contract role, your clinical expertise will be vital in delivering exceptional care to patients needing acute medical attention and monitoring.

Key Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Strong background in Medical-Surgical nursing
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Proficient in collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care, including assessment, treatment planning, medication administration, and documentation
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other nurses to ensure high-quality, coordinated care
• Educate patients and families on care plans, post-discharge care, and health maintenance
• Maintain detailed, accurate patient records in accordance with facility and regulatory standards
• Uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient safety at all times
