Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) in Horseheads, NY

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience on a medical-surgical floor
• Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
• Capable communicator with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• BLS certification required

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care for patients with varied medical and surgical needs
• Administer medications, coordinate treatments, and monitor patient progress
• Communicate patient status and care plans effectively with physicians and other care team members
• Document care accurately and timely according to facility and regulatory standards
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families
