Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with good standing
  • Current experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing settings
  • Proficiency in monitoring, assessing, and responding to patient conditions
  • Experience with patient charting using electronic medical records (EMR)
  • Effective communication skills and strong clinical judgment
  • BLS certification required; ACLS certification highly preferred

Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible schedule options, including day and night shifts
  • Full-time hours with variable shift lengths based on unit needs

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on med-surg and telemetry units
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate and implement patient care plans
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, reporting any abnormalities promptly
  • Assess, plan, and document patient status and progress
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders
  • Educate patients and families regarding conditions, medications, and recovery plans
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment
