An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse skilled in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care. This contract role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a dynamic hospital environment, delivering high-quality patient care and utilizing their expertise in monitoring complex health conditions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in Med-Surg and/or Telemetry nursing
  • Proficient in interpreting cardiac rhythms and responding to patient changes
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient education abilities
  • Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced settings and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in a medical-surgical and telemetry setting, adhering to hospital policies and best practices
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and responding to clinical changes promptly
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
  • Document patient assessments, care delivered, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care requirements
  • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
  • Participate in shift handoffs, interdisciplinary rounds, and ongoing performance improvement initiatives
