With 457 licensed beds, high-acuity patients, and top-tier technology (including EPIC EMR and Alaris IV pumps), you’ll expand your clinical expertise and gain valuable exposure to best practices in patient care, advanced interventions, and coordinated teamwork across multiple departments.

Working in a 10-bed Med/Tele unit with an average census of 8, you’ll sharpen your nursing skills with a diverse patient mix—stroke, cardiac, and complex medical diagnoses. Schedule

  • Shifts: 0650–1910 or 1850–0710
  • Every other weekend rotation
  • 75% holiday staffing expectation
  • 6-week scheduling cycles

Qualifications

  • At least 18 months of recent Med/Tele RN experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required; NIHSS for Resource Team
  • Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, stroke care, IV/PIV starts, medication drips (including Heparin, cardiac drips), and advanced drain/tube management
  • Willingness to float within regional hospitals as needed

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to adult Med/Tele patients
  • Interpret cardiac rhythms and assess neurological status
  • Manage medication infusions, blood products, and PCA pumps
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including charge nurses, resource RNs, and hospitalists
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive culture—unit book club and Netflix clubs included!
