Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Jackson, MI

Experienced Registered Nurses with a passion for delivering quality care in Med Surg settings are invited to take on an engaging role at a leading healthcare facility. Schedule/Hours:

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts
• Required to float to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed
• Potential to float to lockdown unit

Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered Michigan RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent Med Surg RN experience
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
• Preferred: base telemetry experience
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to a range of units per operational needs

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting
• Monitor patient status, update records, and communicate changes effectively to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to deliver optimal patient outcomes
• Respond swiftly and accurately to patient needs, emergencies, and physician orders
• Chart and document care consistently, following established policies and compliance requirements
• Float to other units, including lockdown units, based on facility assignments

$1,688 - $1,847/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
