A contract nursing opportunity is available for an experienced Med Surg RN with strong clinical skills. This assignment is designed for nursing professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable floating to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed for optimal patient care.
Schedule:
- 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts
- 13-week contract duration
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Med Surg RN
- Valid and current RN license in Michigan
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Preferred: Telemetry experience is a plus
- Willingness to float to other units, including a lockdown unit, as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical unit
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care consistently and accurately
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe, effective, and patient-focused environment
- Document all patient care activities in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements
- Flexibly respond to changes in assignments and unit needs, including floating to other departments of comparable or lesser acuity

$1,688 - $1,847/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
