Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid and unencumbered RN license
  • At least one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) setting
  • BLS certification (current and valid)
  • Strong communication and assessment skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborative spirit and a commitment to high-quality patient care

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct nursing care to med-surg patients, ensuring compassion and accuracy
  • Monitor and document vitals, administer medications, and track patient progress
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members on care plans
  • Educate patients and families on procedures, treatments, and recovery plans
  • Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions, initiating necessary interventions
  • Maintain accurate medical records and comply with regulatory standards
