Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of one year experience in a medical-surgical (med-surg) nursing setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
  • Current BLS certification (required); additional certifications a plus
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management capabilities

Schedule:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to a broad range of adult med-surg patients
  • Monitor patient conditions, report changes promptly, and initiate appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and ancillary staff to ensure coordinated care
  • Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment options, and discharge plans
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed clinical documentation in compliance with policies and procedures
  • Foster a safe, healing environment while adhering to infection prevention protocols
