Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Justin, TX

Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Current and active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year of recent clinical experience on a medical-surgical unit
• Proficiency in assessing vital signs, administering medications, wound care, and monitoring patient status
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred
• Collaborative spirit and commitment to patient-centered care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients
• Complete assessments, develop care plans, and implement physician orders
• Monitor patient reactions and progress, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams as needed
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery
• Ensure accurate documentation of care, medication administration, and changes in patient condition
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous professional development
