Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts: 6:45am-7:15pm or 6:45pm-7:15am
  • Weekend rotation: Every other weekend
  • Holiday coverage: 75% of holidays
  • Up to 6 days of approved time off (excluding holidays)

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with at least 18 months Med/Surg Telemetry experience
  • Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Proficient in starting PIVs, NG tube and chest tube management, surgical drain care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, plus non-titratable cardiac drips

Responsibilities:

  • Care for a spectrum of patient conditions including heart failure, chest pain, COPD, post-cardiac cath, and medical overflow
  • Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4-6, with flexibility during surge periods
  • Collaborate with CNAs, IV/VAT team, and support staff
  • Floating to other facilities within the region per staffing needs
