RN Med Surg | Lakewood, Ohio

Deliver exceptional patient care and support as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) nursing. Key Details:

• Schedule includes every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH)
• Intermittent charge nurse responsibilities may be required; charge training and shadowing are provided

Preferred Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license
• Minimum of one year experience in a Medical-Surgical setting
• Proficiency in patient assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly in fast-paced environments
• Previous charge nurse experience is a plus (training available)

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver skilled, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Med-Surg unit
• Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team
• Monitor and document patient condition and respond to changes in status
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Support and mentor less experienced staff; act in charge nurse capacity as assigned
• Maintain compliance with facility protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies
