Deliver high-quality patient care to adult medical/surgical inpatients—including those with orthopedic and neuro-surgical needs—in a dynamic hospital setting. This contract opportunity places you alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team serving a Level 1 trauma population. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult medical/surgical patients, including those requiring orthopedic or neuro-surgical interventions.
- Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and implement physician-ordered treatment plans.
- Participate in patient admission assessments and individualized care planning.
- Promote high standards of patient safety, aiming for zero-harm outcomes.
- Support and enhance the patient experience with proactive rounding, bedside hand-offs, and empathetic communication.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate pain management, discharge planning, and continuity of care.
- Document interventions and progress accurately within electronic health records.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active RN license.
- Demonstrated experience in a medical/surgical nursing environment; experience with orthopedics, neuro-surgery, or trauma patients preferred.
- BLS certification (required); ACLS preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and adaptability in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
- Commitment to patient safety, quality care, and positive patient experiences.
