Deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment, supporting individuals on a progressive cardiac stepdown unit. This contract opportunity is ideal for a skilled RN with a background in medical-surgical and cardiac stepdown nursing, eager to make a difference in patient outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Prior experience in a medical-surgical setting, cardiac stepdown unit, or telemetry unit preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
  • Experience with electronic medical records and current evidence-based nursing practices

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients recovering from cardiac events or procedures
  • Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, responding rapidly to any changes in patient condition
  • Administer prescribed medications and provide patient education on cardiac health and recovery
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to create and adapt individualized care plans
  • Document all nursing interventions and observations with accuracy and timeliness
  • Support patients and families through clear communication, education, and compassionate care

$2,012 - $2,122/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
