Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Lawrenceville, Georgia

An exciting opportunity is available for skilled Registered Nurses specializing in Medical-Surgical (M/S) care. This contracted role spans 13 weeks and involves assignments across various medical-surgical floors in a respected healthcare environment. Candidates should have recent and robust experience in Med Surg nursing, as well as proficiency with EPIC electronic health records.

Schedule/Hours:

• Multiple shifts available across different M/S floors
• 13-week contract duration
• No time off requests (RTO) will be accommodated

Qualifications & Required Experience:

• Active RN license with a strong background in Medical-Surgical (RN-MS) nursing
• Minimum of one year recent Med Surg nursing experience
• Experience using EPIC charting systems (required)
• No employment gaps greater than 60 days within your recent work history or resume
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, adapting quickly across varying patient needs
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Must be available for interview and on-boarding as scheduled by the manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to medical-surgical patients, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes
• Accurately document and manage patient information in EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and monitor patient progress consistently
• Provide patient and family education to support health and recovery goals
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and evidence-based practices
