Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Leesburg, GA

Schedule/Hours:

• 12-hour shifts, 6:45 – 7:15
• Day and night shift options
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday shifts as needed

Key Qualifications:

• Current RN license; BLS and NIHSS certifications (both AHA) required
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in Med-Surg, including at least 1 previous travel assignment
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR preferred but not required
• Comfortable with a patient ratio of 1:5, occasionally 1:6
• Able to work collaboratively with CNAs and nurse aides

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver exceptional patient-centered care in a 44-bed med-surg unit
• Float as needed within acute care, cardiac, or emergency holding units
• Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team of 40 staff members
• Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation (orientation provided)
• Wear Caribbean blue scrubs for all shifts
• Provide competent support to CNAs (ratios 1:8 to 1:10), often acting as sitters

Workplace Experience:

• Week-long general orientation including EMR training
• Additional 2 days of floor-specific orientation
• Exposure to telemetry (monitored remotely)
