Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Lenexa, Kansas

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week assignment
• 36 hours per week
• Night shifts: 6:45pm – 7:15am
• Every other weekend required (Friday/Saturday night or Saturday/Sunday night)
• No call required
• Occasional floating may be necessary

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Registered Nurse license (RN)
• Demonstrated proficiency in Med-Surg nursing; oncology experience highly valued
• BLS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment and adaptability within dynamic hospital environments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult oncology patients in a med-surg unit
• Conduct assessments, monitor patient progress, and implement evidence-based care plans
• Collaborate effectively with medical teams, patients, and their families
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
• Adapt to varying workflows and float to similar units as needed
