Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Lithonia, GA

Step into a dynamic clinical role supporting patients on a Medical-Surgical unit, utilizing your expertise as a Registered Nurse. This position offers day shifts, Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm, providing consistency and work-life balance.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, in good standing
• Previous experience in a Med-Surg (Medical-Surgical) nursing environment
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Proven ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and provide compassionate, evidence-based care

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, effective nursing care to adult patients on a Med-Surg unit
• Conduct frequent assessments, monitor vital signs, and respond proactively to patient needs
• Implement physician orders, administer medications, and manage IVs
• Coordinate and communicate with physicians, support staff, and patients’ families to ensure comprehensive care
• Educate patients and families about procedures, plans, and post-discharge care
• Accurately chart interventions, progress, and patient responses in the EMR system
• Uphold infection control, health, and safety protocols at all times
