As part of a med-surg float team, you’ll gain hands-on experience across a range of specialties—observation, cardiac, surgical, ortho/neuro, inpatient rehab, and transitional care. This exposure provides a unique opportunity to sharpen your clinical expertise and adaptability while collaborating with seasoned leaders and colleagues, broadening your skills and expanding your resume.

Schedule:

  • 12-hour day/night variable shifts
  • Every weekend required
  • 13-week assignment with guaranteed 36–48 hours per week

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active RN license (or Compact license) and BLS (American Heart Association)
  • 1–2+ years recent Med/Surg experience
  • Epic charting proficiency within the past 2 years
  • Experience with venipuncture and Cardizem administration
  • NIHSS certification preferred (can be obtained during orientation at no cost)
  • Strong work ethic, time management, resilience, and adaptability
  • Social, team-oriented individual
