Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- At least one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) nursing role
- Strong assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems and medication administration
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and varied patient acuity
- Current BLS certification (other certifications may be required depending on unit needs)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to a broad range of adult patients, supporting their recovery and well-being
- Develop, update, and implement individualized nursing care plans
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform therapeutic interventions in line with physician orders
- Work closely with physicians, therapists, and ancillary staff to coordinate comprehensive care
- Monitor and document patient progress, promptly identifying and addressing changes in status
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
