Travel Med-Surg Nurse (RN) in Loves Park, IL

Schedule/Hours:

• 7:00pm – 7:30am
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday rotation included

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Proven background in Medical-Surgical (MS) and Telemetry care
• BLS certification (required)
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt quickly
• Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience preferred
• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced observation unit
• Assess, plan, and implement patient-centered interventions
• Monitor vital signs and respond to cardiac telemetry
• Collaborate effectively with physicians and other medical professionals
• Document assessments and interventions accurately
• Support patients and families with education and emotional care
