Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse in Lynn, MA

This travel assignment is set in a private, 32-bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg unit, where each day offers the opportunity to broaden your clinical skills by managing a diverse patient population. As part of your role, you’ll collaborate with outstanding care teams, adapt to various leadership approaches, and gain exposure to advanced medical protocols and workplace cultures—experience that will set you apart on your resume.

Schedule/Hours

• 36 hours/week (Days, Nights, & Every Other Weekend)
• Day rotators may be scheduled as 7a–7p, 11a–11p, or 7p–7a as needed
• Night positions do not rotate
• Floating to similar units as requested

Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience
• Strong neuro assessment ability
• Telemetry skills, including competency in reading and interpreting tele strips (must-have)
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Comfort with EPIC EMR

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality care to a mix of elective orthopedic, neurosurgical, and medical overflow patients
• Manage a patient load of 1:4 (day/eve), potentially up to 1:5; nights typically 1:5–6
• Document diligently in EPIC
• Float to similar units as necessary, adapting quickly to new teams and settings
