Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) | Maben, Mississippi

This contract opportunity offers a 13-week assignment with immediate start, providing hands-on experience with medical, orthopedic, general surgery, gastrointestinal, telemetry, and stepdown patients. Schedule/Hours:

• Rotating shifts available:
  • Rotation 1: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Friday
  • Rotation 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Holiday coverage may be needed
• On-call responsibilities may apply

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with a minimum of 3 years of recent Med/Surg experience
• Strong working knowledge of EPIC electronic medical record system
• Confidence managing a 5-7 patient caseload, including several total care patients
• Experience caring for a diverse population with needs ranging from medical to telemetry and stepdown care
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care across a range of diagnoses
• Manage complex clinical situations and prioritize care for 5-7 patients per shift
• Perform thorough assessments and document using EPIC EMR system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create, implement, and evaluate care plans
• Deliver compassionate support to patients and families during transitions in care
• Adhere to clinical protocols, infection control standards, and facility policies

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
