Registered Nurse Med Surg | Macon, Georgia

Requirements:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry nursing
• Proficient in assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care within Med Surg and Telemetry units
• Strong critical thinking, multitasking, and communication skills
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care, working with a diverse patient population in Med Surg and Telemetry settings
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly reporting any changes
• Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses
• Collaborate with physicians and ancillary staff to coordinate effective care
• Ensure safety and compliance with hospital policies and standards
