Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Mandan, ND

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in a medical-surgical (MS) nursing role
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Proficiency monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and completing documentation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care to adult patients with various medical and surgical conditions
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient progress, recognize changes in condition, and respond swiftly to evolving situations
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and manage IVs according to protocols
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all procedures, assessments, and patient responses
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, discharge plans, and self-care strategies
• Adhere to infection prevention, patient safety, and facility protocols at all times
