Key Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse license with active, unrestricted status
  • Minimum of recent Med Surg (Medical-Surgical) experience as an RN
  • Proficient with EPIC electronic medical records (EMR) system—this is essential
  • Availability for full 13-week duration with no time off requests (NO RTO)
  • Ability to function as an adaptable team member, covering needs across different units
  • Candidate profile must include a work history or resume without employment gaps exceeding 60 days

Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts (specific floor assignments such as 12B Medical, with four roles available)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care to Med Surg populations across designated medical-surgical units
  • Accurately document all patient information using the EPIC EMR
  • Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams for comprehensive treatment plans
  • Administer medication and monitor for potential adverse reactions
  • Serve as a patient advocate and communicate effectively with patients and families
