Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) - Marietta, GA

Healthcare professionals with strong experience in medical-surgical nursing are needed for a contract opportunity. This role focuses on delivering skilled, compassionate care to patients in a fast-paced Med-Surg environment while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.

Schedule:

• DAY shifts, Monday through Friday
• 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proven experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) setting
• Comprehensive understanding of clinical procedures and protocols
• Proficiency in patient assessment, documentation, and care planning
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a high-acuity, team-focused environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care for Med-Surg patients, adhering to best practices, safety protocols, and hospital policies
• Perform head-to-toe assessments, monitor patient progress, and document observations meticulously
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with procedures as needed
• Educate patients and their families regarding ongoing care and post-discharge instructions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, other nurses, and allied healthcare staff to coordinate and optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain a clean and safe healthcare environment
