Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) | Marshall, Michigan

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with current standing
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Med Surg setting
• Proficient in comprehensive patient assessment, IV therapy, medication administration, and care planning
• Skilled in electronic medical records and documentation compliance
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• BLS certification required (additional certifications a plus)

Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to diverse adult patient populations
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments, with vigilant monitoring of patient responses
• Chart accurately and timely in electronic health records, ensuring regulatory standards are met
• Coordinate discharge instructions and ongoing patient education, supporting optimal recovery
• Participate in team huddles, handoffs, and quality improvement processes as needed
