Registered Nurse Med Surg | Marshall, Michigan

Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) unit
• Proficient in patient assessments, care planning, medication administration, and wound care management
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environments
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care to a diverse range of adult patients with acute medical conditions or post-surgical needs
• Monitor and assess patient status, document observations and interventions, and promptly communicate changes to the care team
• Administer medications, start IVs, and manage IV therapies according to hospital protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement personalized care plans and achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families
• Adhere to best practices for infection control and patient safety procedures
• Maintain accurate electronic health records in accordance with facility standards

$2,009 - $2,125/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
