This opportunity is ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse with strong skills in Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) nursing. In this contract role, you will play a crucial part in promoting quality patient care within a dynamic hospital setting.
Qualifications:
- Current, active RN license
- Proven experience in a Medical-Surgical (RN-MS, RN-Med Surg) environment
- Solid assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple patients and adapt to a fast-paced unit
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to adult patients with diverse medical and surgical conditions
- Perform admissions, monitoring, and discharge planning for patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to physician orders
- Document assessments, care provided, and patient responses in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
- Educate patients and their families regarding ongoing treatment, medication, and discharge planning
- Uphold infection control and safety practices at all times

$2,178 - $2,304/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
