This is a travel role for an experienced MedSurg/Telemetry RN seeking meaningful career growth, exposure to advanced clinical protocols, and the chance to collaborate with an outstanding multidisciplinary team. Schedule/Hours:

  • 12-hour shifts: 7a–7p or 7p–7a
  • Weekend rotation: every other weekend
  • Holiday rotation: work required for 75% of holidays
  • RTO: Up to 6 days off (excludes holidays)
  • Shift schedule every 6 weeks
  • No call required

What You'll Bring:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ RN experience in Med/Tele
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications required
  • Strong skills in neuro and spine post-op care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, pain management (including opioid administration), and chest tube management
  • Proficiency in IV starts, medication drips (including Heparin, cardiac drips), and use of medical technology (EPIC, Alaris, Omnicell)
  • Ability to educate patients/families, manage high-acuity neuro patients, and use multiple pain relief modalities
  • Adaptability for floating between regional facilities (paid travel time, within scope)

Your Role:

  • Direct patient care on a 36-bed MedSurg/Tele unit (1:4-6 ratio, acuity-based)
  • Manage complex neurological, spinal, cardiac, and post-surgical cases
  • Utilize available support resources: CNAs, HUC, RT, hospitalist, intensivist
  • Implement and uphold best practices for infection, fall, and complication prevention
  • Collaborate with a team deeply invested in quality outcomes and real-time improvement
