Registered Nurse Med Surg | Mendon, Illinois

Schedule/Hours:

• Full-time shifts; flexible options may be available, including days or nights
• Weekend and holiday rotations may be required

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active and unencumbered RN license, valid for the state of practice with no restrictions
• At least one year of recent Med Surg RN experience in an acute care or hospital setting
• Current BLS certification, with ACLS preferred
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and time management skills
• Adept at collaborating within interdisciplinary teams and communicating effectively with patients and families
• Familiarity with EMR systems and comprehensive documentation standards

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to adult patients across diverse medical-surgical diagnoses
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress, customizing care plans as needed
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments safely and accurately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and post-discharge care
• Support physicians during rounds, procedures, and emergencies, ensuring timely interventions
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols

$2,092 - $2,277/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
