Schedule:

• 7:00 p.m. – 7:30 a.m.
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend rotation

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active RN license, valid in Connecticut
• Experience in Medical-Surgical (MS) nursing required
• Confidence and proficiency in managing inpatient hold patients
• Preferred: Ability to accept and care for Emergency Department patients
• Exceptional critical thinking and communication skills
• Adaptability in fast-paced environments
• BLS certification (required), ACLS preferred

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in inpatient hold
• Triage and manage diverse patient populations, including ED overflow
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and progress thoroughly
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and fellow staff
• Uphold standards of care and safety at all times
