Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum of one year recent experience in Medical-Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• Proficient in monitoring and interpreting cardiac rhythms, and responding to telemetry alarms appropriately
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide expert nursing care to adult patients in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units
• Monitor and assess patients’ conditions, detect signs of complications, and promptly report changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
• Accurately document assessments, care delivered, and patient responses
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families about procedures, recovery, and ongoing care needs
• Maintain compliance with safety guidelines and hospital policies
