Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in a medical-surgical (Med Surg) setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
  • Proficient with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • BLS certification (current and valid)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Document patient care and progress accurately in the electronic health record
  • Provide patient and family education to support recovery and health management
  • Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Support admission, transfer, and discharge processes efficiently
