Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) - Metter, Georgia

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts: 6:45 am – 7:15 pm
• Every other weekend required
• Expect floating between Med Surg and Telemetry units
• Holiday shifts required
• Variable schedule based on unit needs

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with current BLS certification
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an acute care setting
• Completed at least 2 prior travel assignments
• Hands-on proficiency with Cerner charting systems
• Experience managing Med Surg patients with remote telemetry monitoring
• Strong adaptability for floating between Med Surg and Telemetry departments

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive care and monitoring to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and implement nursing interventions with efficiency and compassion
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care and progress using Cerner EMR
• Maintain thorough communication with patients, families, and team members
• Respond to emergencies and use critical thinking in high-pressure situations
• Float as needed between the assigned departments to support patient care

$1,579 - $1,728/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
